Sexuality and Your Consumer: Providing Competent Care

This workshop is for professionals who provide services to deaf
and hard of hearing adults with additional disabilities. This training
will give you the opportunity to get up-to-date facts on sexuality-related
information; identify sensitive situations and use an intervention
model to help manage them; explore boundaries with sexuality and
how to set appropriate limits with consumers; practice answering
questions and managing sexuality-related comments consumers may make;
and discuss and display resources for communicating messages and
for working with consumers. |
